HOW TO CREATE A PASSWORD RESET DISK

Forgetting your computers local account password can be one of  the worst experience one can ever encounter. I personally tried to change my account password using the command prompt, if you are curios I can teach you, and ended up setting a password that I could not personally remember or you set up a very complicated password having all the characters a computer could possibly have including characters like “?,/,},{,!,+@” and many others.

It is always recommended that a person should set up a password that can be easily remembered, like you pet’s, or you personal name

Before you forget your password always remember to create a password reset disk.

It is a very simple task and be sure that it will help you in the near future in case you have forgotten your password. First you need to understand what is a password reset disk, this is a type of a password reset wizard that works in only one pc. First you need a flash drive of any capacity or a hard disk

1.First click the search icon on the task bar the type ‘control panel’ then a screen will show up. On the control panel highlight the search field on the top corner then search for “users account” then click on it

2.After accessing your “users account” click on “create a password reset disk” at the top left side of the control panel

3.Next, a password reset wizard will pop up on your desktop then click on “next” to continue

4.Write a password that secures your disk then click on “next”, wait for the wizard to process then click on next. And you are done

Just a quick reminder, don’t forget to label the flash drive ‘password reset’ and keep it in a safe place. I am sure you will really need it one day instead of fully booting and resetting your pc.
