Uber patents a system to detect drunk passenger

Driving with a drunken passenger in an Uber taxi can be the worst experience one can ever have hence there are no people who can drive such people for now, this is where artificial intelligence comes in, Uber has developed a plan called patentapplication

AI that automatically detects user’s drunken behavior to put up with before they go into the back seat, this system automatically detects how the user operates the Uber app, how quickly they type,how precise they click on buttons and how long it takes them to approach the Uber taxi, like someone who hits the street lights often due to drunkenness will not be in a position to correctly type in there home address or even walk at all, factors like these are carefully these along with the place where the ride was requested are plugged into the Uber algorithm system.

So a late night request from an area filled with bars will alert the system of the passenger’s sobriety as compared to a ride requested from the suburbs area.

So the systems decided what ride will the drunk get and the driver could be given tips to meet the passenger at a designated location a bit later so as to give the person some time to get into the car before driving off. Also such a passenger will be given an experienced driver who can handle such people in such states.

The company manages to make some late-night rides a bit less disturbing without leaving out the drunk passengers from the service entirely, for it is hard to imagine a driver with a shiny car can comfortably accommodate someone who has high risks of soiling up their car hence resolving the issue of assault and abuse in the hands of these uber drivers which have been steadily increasing in the past 10 years
