
Drake’s fifth album named SCORPION has pulled a surprising one billion streams globally just in the first week, Drake’s label Republic Records confirmed this to the press.
Surprisingly, the album also broke the US streaming
records beating Post Malone’s album Beerbong and Bentleys by 745.92 million streams to 431 million in the first week as confirmed by Billboard.
Scorpion really made some big figures just in a week completely overtaking the single-day records on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music by bringing over 300 million streams in a time span of only 24 hours.
The album sold out 732,000 copies in the US hence becoming the largest debut in 2018 filling four spots in the top 10 Billboard chart.
